Obituary
William “Bill” Jack Harlow, Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. He was 74 years old. Bill was born in Indianapolis, IN to his parents, Mary Louise and Ellis Harlow. He graduated from Southport High School, class of 1968.
Bill worked as an assembler for Rolls Royce and retired after over 20 years of service. Bill held christian beliefs throughout his life and was confident in his personal relationship with Jesus. Bill enjoyed collecting 1950’s and 1960’s memorabilia; his beloved collection included Forty Five Records, coins, stamps, and photographs. Bill was incredibly knowledgeable about his collection and took pride in teaching others everything he could. Bill developed a close friendship with various gentlemen who attended weekly card games at Ron’s Coin Shop. Bill always dreamed of becoming a DJ and maintained his love for music all throughout his life. He supported his daughter as she grew up playing softball. Bill’s eccentric persona, eclectic lifestyle and quirky personality will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Adrienne (Dave Pelsue) Harlow; his grandchildren, Wilder Pelsue and Winter Pelsue; his siblings, Ellis “Wayne” Harlow, Ronald “Ron” Harlow and Rose Hall; his cat, Grey.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents; his cat, Brover.
There will be a celebration of life for Bill at a later date.
