Obituary

William D. Courtney, 61, of Muncie, Indiana passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born October 19, 1961 in Anderson, Indiana. He was the son of the late William & Virginia "Riggle" Courtney.

He was an Auto Body Techinician of his own business. He loved Horseback riding, buidling and collecting bicycles, but the joy of his life was his grandchildren.

He married Tamra "Hughes" Courtney August 21, 1984 in Anderson, Indiana. They had a son: Joshua Courtney of Matthews, Indiana, daughter: Autumn (Jonathan) Lake of Eaton, Indiana, 4 grandaughters: Kylee, Kelsey, Kendul & Lucie, 1 great grandson: Robert (A.K.A.) Butterbean, 6 brothers Rick (Debbie) Courtney, Jerry (Trudy) Courtney, Russ (Rita) Courtney, Benny (Lisa) Courtney, Donald Courtney and Tommy (Dee) Courtney, 6 sisters: Debbie (Larry) Heater, Judy (Russ) Warner, Jan McLain, Lavonna (Darren) Coppock, Sheila (Bart) Malicoat and Nancy Courtney. Also several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Calling will take place on Friday January 6, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Life Point Church, 3100 E. McGalliard, Muncie, Indiana 47303. Service will be at 1:00 P.M. with Brother Joe Prewitt officiating.
