Obituary

Willena Hurst, Indianapolis, passed away on the evening of December 9, 2022. She was 93 years old. Willena was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky to her parents Andrew Llyod McKinney Sr. and Maggie (Norton) McKinney. She attended High School while still living in Kentucky. Willena met her husband, John, and together they shared 64 years of marriage together. 
Willena was an amazing homemaker and a talented seamstress for her children throughout her life. Willena was a woman of faith who was always described as kind and thoughtful of others. 
Willena is survived by her children Gordon (Sharon) Hurst of Indianapolis, IN, and Nancy Lee of Martinsville, IN; caregivers, Diana Stephens and Teresa Maxey; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Willena is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John Lawrence Hurst; her son, Dennis Hurst; her grandchild, Jenny Rebecka; her one sister and two brothers. 
A visitation for Willena  will be held on Thursday December 15, 2022 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be on Thursday December 15, 2022 at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 12:00 pm.
