Obituary

Sharley Jay Lephart, 90 years old, passed away on November 14, 2024 at 8:48 pm. She was born on January 31, 1934 to Margaret and Charles Wageman in Fort Wayne, IN. 
Sharley was married twice. She married Clifford Keller (deceased) and later divorced. Sharley had 4 children Barry, Greg, Dennis, and Ella. Then she was married to Ernest Lephart who passed away in 1990. Sharley was a 3 time breast cancer survivor and supported many causes to find a cure. 
Sharley was an avid fan of Elvis and loved his music and movies. Sharley also enjoyed watching musicals and westerns. Sharley loved spending time with all of her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sharley loved to travel and got to see many places around the United States and a few countries. Her favorite place to visit was the Philippines where her son and his family lived and she enjoyed the tropical weather.  Sharley was an avid animal lover owning and caring for many dogs and cats in her lifetime. Friends and family will even recall when she fed outdoor animals living near her home in Muncie including raccoons and opossums. 
Sharley worked at and retired from Wert’s Novelty in Muncie, IN where she helped make gambling pull tabs. After retirement Sharley moved around the country living with multiple family members. She lived in California with her son Gregory Keller and his family. She lived with her  granddaughter Andrea Ames in Wisconsin. And lastly she spent the remainder of her days living with her granddaughter Kimberly Keller in Seattle, Washington. 
Sharley is survived by her daughter Ella (Timothy) Allen of Rockford, Il; her son Gregory (Florita) Keller of the Philippines; granddaughters: Andrea (Thomas) Ames of Beloit, WI; Sarah (Rhett) Foerster of Beloit, WI; Kathereen (Marty) Jones of the Philippines; Kimberly (Manuel) Keller of Seattle, WA; Julie Ann (Evan) Keller of Everett, WA; grandsons: Christopher Allen of Janesville, WI; Chalres (Lori) Keller of Muncie, IN; and
 Shane Curless of Bluffton, IN; great grandchildren: Ronald, Theron, Thea, Lyra, Kitarrah, Curtis, Phoenix, Olivia, Haylee, Teagan, Piper, and Isabelle. 
Sharley was preceded in death by both of her parents Margaret and Charles Wageman; husbands Clifford Keller and Ernest Lephart; her sons Dennis and Barry Keller; sisters Pollyanna Garrod, Nellie Bell, and Jean Rapp; her beloved cat Oreo, and many more family, friends and pets.
Family and friends may call at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N St. Rd. 3, Muncie IN 47303, on Friday, December 6th, 2024 from 11:00 - 1:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM at Garden View Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family has entrusted the arrangements to Garden View Funeral Home; online condolences can be made at www.gardenviewandgardensofmemory.com.
