Obituary

On February 22, 2023 Sampson Harding, born on June 30, 1934 in Fleming County. KY. He passed away at home where he resided in Hartford City, IN. Surrounded with family by his side.

Sam enjoyed Coon hunting, fishing, gardening and building things. Married the love of his life Deloris Harding (Higgins) on February 18, 1953.

He is preceded in death by his parents Wilbert Harding (Father) Mary "Bartrum" Harding (Mother), 4 Brothers; Paul, Jesse, Thomas and James, 5 Sisters; Wilma, Hazel, Bessie, Della Bea, and Martha Jane. One daughter Elizabeth Ann.

He is survived by his wife of 70 years Deloris Harding; Four children; Glenn Harding (wife Janet); Samuel Harding (wife Cheryl) Venita McGinnis (husband Kevin) Wilbert Harding (wife Kathy). Several Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. 2 Sisters; Darlene (husband Kelly) Muse, Geneva ( husband Woody) Mitchell, 1 Brother; Claude (wife Beattress) Harding. 

Sam was a Deacon at New Life United Baptist Church, Selma, IN. Service will be held at Riverview United Baptist Church, Albany, IN. Viewing will be on Tuesday February 28, 2023 from 10:00-12:00P.M. with service at 12:00P.M. Burial to follow at Garden of Memories. Pastor Danny Lewis assisted by Dewayne Loveless will be officiating.
