Obituary
Ronald Lee Cohron, Mooresville, IN, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2024. He was 89 years old. Ronald was born in Henderson, KY, to his parents Edward Cohron and Nina LeVelle. Ronald married his wife, Myrtle, and they shared many years of marriage together until Myrtle passed away on January 11, 1992. On December 6, 1995, Ronald married his wife, Geraldine. Geraldine and Ron enjoyed several years of marriage together until she passed away in 2018.
Ronald worked in Skill Trade for UAW Ford Motor Company and retired after over 30 years of service. Ronald enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, and shooting. He was a lifelong member of the NRA. Ronald also enjoyed joking with his family and spoiling his beloved Shitsu, Cuddles. Ronald’s fierce independence and strong-willed nature will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind.
Ronald is survived by his son, Rick Cohron; his step children, Terry (Deb) Bunton, Bob (Becky) Bunton, Randy (Bonnie) Bunton, and Pam Atherton; his grandchildren, Christina (Tommy) McGinley and Tabatha Patterson (Cohron); his great grandchildren, Clinton McGinley of Leadville CO, Michael McGinley of Salt Lake City, UT, Jaeden Felumero and Collin Patterson; his siblings, Joyce Bingemer of Henderson, KY, Jimmy Cohron of Winder, GA; his several nieces and nephews.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Myrtle Cohron; his wife Geraldine Cohron; his daughter, Vickie Zumbrunn; his daughter-in-law, Tammi Cohron.
