Obituary

Roger Byrd, 71, went to the Lord on December 4, 2024 in Brandon, Florida.  He was born July 5, 1953 in West Palm Beach, FL.  He is survived by his wife Elice Byrd; brothers, Rick; son Kyle, Ron (Marsha), daughter, Jennifer (Chris) and 3 boys; nieces, nephews and cousins; brother-in-laws, Bruce (Pam), Brian (Vahoi) Robetor and son Christian. Preceded in death by parents, Immogene Bellflower and Cleveland Byrd.

He lived in Riverview, attended East Bay High School.  He was a Christian man. He liked to read and write about the Bible.  Roger went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  He worked at Byrd’s Garage door family business and Wal-Mart.

There will be a memorial service at First Presbyterian Church, 121 Carver Street, Brandon FL on February 15, 2025 at 2pm.  A graveside service will be held at a later date.
