Obituary

Richard J. Harris, Jr., age 87, of Mars, died on December 11, 2022. Born on February 28, 1935 in Summerville, MA, son of the late Richard J. & Theresa O'Donnell Harris, Sr.
Beloved husband of the late Betty L. Nill Harris. Loving father of Robert James Harris, Ronald Joseph Harris, and Richard John Harris, III. Dear brother of Anne Miller, and the late Jane Smorey and Mary Margaret Robbins. Dear grandfather of Christina, Richard IV, Ian, Cory, Ashley, and Alison. Also survived by two great-grandchildren, Chase & Kayla.
A U.S. Navy Veteran, Richard worked for many years with the Allegheny County Jail, retiring in 1997 a Captain.
