Obituary
Randal Dean Snyder of Orange City, Florida, born on February 27, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, passed away on October 8, 2024, at the age of 66. Randal was a devoted man of faith, actively involved with his church community, where he found great joy in serving others and sharing his deep love for God.
In his free time, Randal enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved to fish and appreciated quiet moments by the water and enjoying the peaceful tranquility of nature. The beach was another pastime for Randal where he loved to soak in the sun, walk along the shore, and appreciate the beauty of the ocean.
Above all, Randal treasured his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend who cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. His legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Randal will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and church community, but his memory will forever remain a beacon of warmth, faith, and love. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Eileen Snyder; daughter, Amanda Jo Vazquez; son-in-law, Michael Anthony Vazquez; grandchildren, Kelsey Morgan Farmer, Matthew Anthony Snyder Vazquez, Elijah Michael Vazquez, Oliver Thomas Vazquez; sister, Gail Young; and brother-in-law, Ed Young.
A memorial service will be held at Volusia County Baptist Church located at 261 S. Orange Ave, Orange City, FL 32763 on October 19, 2024 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Angel Flight – a non-profit organization that provides free air transportation to distant medical facilities.
