Obituary

Our beloved mother;
Peggy Mavourneen Hale Leeper, age 84, passed away peacefully at Rosegate Nursing Home, Indianapolis, Indiana, on Tuesday August 13th, 2024. She was born November 23, 1939 to parents Lawrence Christopher Henry and Elsie Doris Hale. She married Thomas William Leeper Jr. December 21st, 1957, in a beautiful cobblestone Church of England, while he served in the United States Air Force. They shared 49  years of marriage together until Thomas passed away in 2006. Mom loved to knit scarves, liked to write poems, loved being a homemaker, and loved her family. She asked Jesus to forgive her sins and asked him into her heart. She also gave to her favorite charity; St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Peggy is survived by children, Thomas, Jefferey (Missy), Richard (Sherri) Leeper, Kimberley McCutcheon, (Son Gus Andrew Leeper preceded her in death) and son-in-law (Donald McCutcheon preceded her also) 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, sisters, Patricia Hale and Janet Kieffer, (brother, David Hale preceded her in death).
A visitation will be held for Peggy on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on August 19, 2024 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens on August 19, 2024 at 3:00 pm.
