Obituary
Paula V. White, 70, of Muncie, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2024. Born on January 25, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the cherished daughter of Robert L. Thomas and Berniece G. Thomas.
A dedicated nurse, Paula spent 23 years serving her patients with compassion and care at Montclair Hospital, leaving a legacy of kindness and professionalism.
Paula had a creative spirit and a love for the arts. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, often crafting heartfelt gifts for family and friends. A talented pianist, she found joy in music and shared her gift with others. Paula was a devoted member of the Fresh Anointing House of Worship, where her faith and fellowship were central to her life.
Paula is survived by her son, Terence Calhoun (wife, Tamika Calhoun); grandchildren, Palarius Calhoun, Tali’a Calhoun, Trysten Jackson, Tiffany M. Calhoun, and Terence P. Calhoun; great-grandchildren, A’Zuri J. Frank and Harley Rose; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in passing by her parents, Robert L. and Berniece G. Thomas; daughter, Kimberly G. Williams; and brother, Robert B. Thomas.
