Obituary

Margie Marie (Lutz) Studebaker, 87, of Coburn, PA, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024. She was born to the late John and Esther (Branham) Lutz on November 11, 1936 in Greenville, IL. Margie was a Greenville High School graduate. She married Ward W. Studebaker on July 6, 1957 and celebrated 67 wonderful years together.

Margie attended Christian Missionary Alliance Church where she was an active member of the Christian Women’s Club. She played softball and was an avid sports lover. She mostly cherished spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed being a mother, grandmother and great - grandmother and attended her grandchildren’s sporting events regularly.

Along with her parents, Margie was preceded in death by eight siblings. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Ward Studebaker; three daughters, Cheryl Barr and her husband, Keith, Rhonda Meyers and her husband, Rick and Carla Weaver and her husband, Mark; seven grandchildren and 14 great - grandchildren and one on the way.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 10:00am – 12:00pm immediately followed by a funeral service, officiated by Pastor Aaron Henning, at 12:00pm at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Interment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park.
