Obituary
Lois Diane Scott, Greenwood, passed away on Tuesday, September 10,2024. She was 93 years old. Diane was born in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Everett and Muriel Hays. Diane married her husband, Larry Scott, and together they shared 68 years of marriage until Larry passed away in 2018.
Diane was a homemaker for her family for most of her life. She was a talented seamstress; Diane created many intricate wedding dresses and often made her own clothes. Diane and Larry lived in several places during their life together. They started in Indianapolis and moved to Deerfield, IL. While in Deerfield, they were a part of a theater group and made wonderful friends along the way. Later Diane and Larry moved to North Carolina where they resided for several years before returning to Indiana. Diane will be remembered for her ability to laugh at herself and never take life too seriously.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Ann Deranleau; her grandchildren, Lauren Scott and Michael (Lisa) Schneider; her great grandchild, Nora Frye; her several nieces and nephews.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Scott; her son, Daniel Hays Scott.
There will be no services at this time.
