Obituary
Funeral services will be 1 pm Thursday, August 29,2024, at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. Larry Wayne Brooks, age 55, of Gadsden, who died Monday August 26,2024. Tommy Hays and Tim Diggs will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.
Larry will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor and love for comics and superheroes. So much so that the family referred to him as superman. Family members thought he was a little crazy but he was loved by all. Big Bama Football fan and very conservative in his politics. Proud desert storm veteran having achieved the rank of Master Sergeant.
He was a loving husband ,father, son ,brother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Loyd and Wilma Solley and James and Louise Brooks.
He is survived by wife Mishaela, daughter Arial (Cody) Alford, parents Larry and Ramona Brooks, Brother Robby(Missy) Brooks, nephew Newt Brooks brother in law Matt Whatley and his fur babies Bear, Bella and Eddy.
