Obituary
Juanita Louise Honn, Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2024. She was 92 years old. Juanita was born in Indianapolis, IN to her parents Joseph and Anna Mary Skaggs. Juanita married her husband, William Honn, on July 22, 1950, and they shared 63 years of marriage together until William Passed away in 2013.
Juanita was an Artist who enjoyed painting, crafting and writing all her life. Juanita was first saved and baptized at age thirteen and later became a member of Mt. Calvary Evangelistic Center for many years. Juanita was a lifelong prayer warrior and enjoyed spending time in her prayer garden with her daughter and beloved yorkie, Zoey. Juanita had a talent for cooking and making sure everyone was fed. She loved animals and was known to care for the strays around her. She was often described as patient, gentle and kind. Juanita’s family-oriented nature and loving personality will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Sandy Feikema; her grandchildren, Scott (Jennifer) Woodard and Michelle Wheeler; her great grandchildren, Chelsea Woodard, Megan Woodard, Sarah Woodard, Reece Woodard, Drew Bell, Hannah Chestnet, Brooklyn Moore, and Jake Bell; her great great grandchildren, Elijah and Jasper;
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Honn; Her son-in-law, Robert Feikema; 10 siblings.
A visitation for Juanita will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 11:00 am. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 12:00 pm.
