In Loving Memory of

Joan E. Basilicato

April 22nd, 1948 - August 16th, 2024

Obituary

Joan Basilicato (Krysiak) died peacefully in her home on August 16, 2024 in Riverview, FL at the age of 76.

Joan is survived by her loving husband, Angelo; daughter, Felicia Vega (Mark); son, Anthony Basilicato (Cindy); four grandchildren, Tabitha Vega, Alex Vega, Benjamin Basilicato, Matthew Basilicato; her two sisters Barbara Arcieri, Elaine Syseskey, and many nieces and nephews.

Joan was born on April 22, 1948 in Clinton, Massachusetts to Stephen and Regina Krysiak. She loved her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Catholic Church.  She loved her family unconditionally and would have given her life for them.  She was a loving and gentle woman, who treated all people with kindness and respect, always willing to help a friend or stranger.  She always put others before herself and was a dependable friend to all.  She was a profound Catholic and Rite to Life advocate.

She leaves with us wonderful memories of laughter, joy and love.  She was an amazing lady and will be greatly missed by all but our joy and comfort are knowing that she is resting in the hands of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm with a prayer service at 7:00pm at Serenity Meadows, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview FL 33578.
