Obituary

Isaac Holland, Jr. was born December 15, 1927 in Orlando, Fl, to Annie Williams and Isaac Holland, Sr., and he transitioned at the wonderful age of 95, on Saturday, April 8, 2023. 
Ike retired from the U.S. Army after serving over 20 years and fighting in two wars.  After serving in the military, he met and married his wife of 49 years, Juanita. The two of them traveled the world and enjoyed their lives to the fullest.
After Ike and Juanita both retired in New York, and they relocated back to her hometown of Petersburg, VA, where they became very active members of the Greater Faith A.M.E. Zion Church.
Ike's favorite pastimes were tending to his garden and caring for his pond full of Koi fish, along with singing and dancing.
Isaac is survived by his children, Cherlylon Braddon, Vincent Lyttle (Sharron) and Gail Little; four grandchildren, Jamaal and Janelle Braddon and Aaron and Shivon Lyttle; four great grandchildren; one brother, Curtis Holland (Judy); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 14, 2023, at Greater Faith A.M.E. Zion Church, 1301 Youngs Road, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Randy Kiah, Pastor.  The entombment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
