Obituary
Harry F. Williams, Jr., 77, of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. He was born to Harry Williams, Sr. and Geraldine Williams on Christmas Day, 1946.
Harry retired from Warren Township Corporation after a 37-year teaching career.
His passion in life was basketball. Playing at Southport High School, Indiana Central University and coaching in Warren Township, Harry made many longtime friends and created many memories.
He was a huge Colts fan, a member of Blended Church, he loved cats, playing golf, being at the lake house and skiing. Oh! and let’s not forget about Harry putting up Christmas decor and wining the neighborhood Christmas contest. Ho! Ho! Ho!
Harry leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 25 years, Doris Williams; two children, Vaughn Williams and Lizann (Jesse) Whiteside; three grandchildren; and two siblings, Peggy Warner and Bobby White.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Harry Williams, Sr. and Geraldine White; first wife, Kathleen Williams; and siblings Mike and Pat Williams, and Sandy Horton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 27, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service (Noon) at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. SR 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
