Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys E. Milan on December 24, 2024, at the age of 86. Gladys was born on August 10, 1938, in Oahu, Hawaii to Joseph and Mary (Santos) Knabenshue. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Milan.

Gladys truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She chose to live her life through acts of unselfishness and kindness, providing support and helping others in need. Gladys was known for her strong will and unwavering determination.

In addition to her parents and husband, Gladys was preceded in death by her siblings JoAnn Knabenshue, Harry Knabenshue, Robert (Bob) Knabenshue, Shirley Guthrie, and Edward Knabenshue. She is survived by her brothers Stanley and Kenneth Knabenshue, sister Betty (Dave) Cunningham and many nieces and nephews.

Although Gladys is gone, she will live in our hearts forever. Her final resting place will be at Sylvan Heights Cemetery. Services will be private. Your personal written tributes and memories are welcome and encouraged at www.hakkyfuneralhome.com.
