Obituary

Georgia B. Davis, 90, passed away October 19, 2022 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. A longtime resident of Collinsville, Georgia was born to Jesse and Beulah Melton on August 9, 1932 in Qulin, Missouri.

She married Ralph Davis on January 19, 1952 and was a devoted wife and homemaker. She was a loving mother to Roddy (Kay) Davis and Myra (Roy) Baer; grandmother to Rusty Davis; and great-grandmother to Alexis Davis. Georgia has a large extended family of step-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who all called her “Grandma Georgie”. She loved them all dearly.

Georgia was a member of the First Baptist Church of Maryville, where a visitation will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022 from 10:00 a.m, to 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow starting at 12:00 p.m.

She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Qulin Cemetery in Qulin, Missouri.
