Obituary
Frances "Pat" Myers, 81, of Muncie, Indiana, went to be with her Lord on October 31, 2024, while a resident at Bethel Point Health and Rehabilitation Center in Muncie. Born in Muncie to the late Arthur and Sue Richardson, Frances dedicated her life to caring for others.
She worked diligently cleaning homes and businesses and spent time at Nixoa’s Beauty Shop. A generous volunteer, she contributed her time at St. Lawrence Thrift Store, sharing her warmth and kindness with everyone she met. An excellent cook, Frances created many cherished holiday meals for her beloved family, which were filled with love and laughter.
The light of her life was her son and her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy.
Frances is survived by her brother, Arthur Keith Jr.; sisters, Sandra An Creamer and Rebecca Joan Phipps; sister-in-law, PJ Richardson; grandchildren, Larry Townsend II, Brandon Townsend, and Natasha Townsend; special daughter-in-law, Nancey Hale; along with several nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Larry Townsend; sister, Beverly Dixon; and brother, Dale Richardson.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Bethel Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation and IU Hospice for their loving care and support.
Celebration of Life will be held at Garden View Funeral Home, 10501 N. State Rd. 3 Muncie Indiana for 11:00am until service time at 12:00pm on November 16th, 2024.
