Obituary
Felicita Soto, 94, of Deltona, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and her caregiver, Mari, who quickly became part of the family. Born on December 8th, 1929, in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico, Felicita lived a life full of grace, faith, love, and laughter, always guided by her strong devotion to God. Her unwavering trust in His promises brought light and peace to all who knew her.
Felicita is survived by her devoted husband of 74 years, Simon Soto, who stood by her side in a marriage filled with love and faith. She was a dedicated and loving mother to her daughters Nilsa Jardim and Evelyn Hahn, and her cherished son-in-law Richard Jardim, who was like a son to her. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Rich Jardim, Adrian Medina, Veronica Bourne, and Tema Hart, as well as ten great-grandchildren, her loving nieces, and countless other family members. They all brought her endless joy and love.
A celebration of Felicita’s life and faith will be held at St. Clare's Catholic Church in Deltona, FL, on October 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to join in this service to honor her life and the impact she made on so many. After the service, she will be laid to rest in a mausoleum at Deland Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Clare’s Catholic Church in Deltona, FL, in Felicita’s memory.
