Obituary
Eugene
Cruz, born 9/23/1925, was a man for all seasons. He did any number of jobs to
help pay the bills, but his real love was painting. He and his partner of over
70 years, Alice Seely (deceased), lived in the Keys for many years where
"Uncle Lenny" sold his realistic art portraying wildlife, still life,
and everyday scenes in "Margaritaville". He and Alice also
found time to own and operate a Dairy Queen in Miami, while building homes
there and in Melbourne, where they spent the last years of their lives close to
Alice's family.
Uncle
Lenny suffered after losing his beloved Alice in 2023 and he longed to be with
her and at peace. His wish was granted on December 1st when he slipped away
into the great unknown of his Creator. He will be missed by his many nieces,
nephews, and grandchildren known through the love of his life, Alice.
