Funeral services will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home Friday, August 30, 2024, at 1 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. to the start of the service. Brother Paul Harbison will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
EllaRee Sizemore Sharpton passed away on Tuesday afternoon August 27, 2024, at Gadsden Health and Rehab with her family present. She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Carrie Sizemore, husband Howard Sharpton, son Michael Sharpton, sisters Burma Robinson, Robbie Bradford, Evelyn Logan, Margaret Brown, Juanita Harp, Nona Loconto, Jean Morris, brothers Dwight (Dude) Sizemore, Bill Sizemore and Frank Sizemore
She is survived by her children Sabrina Bevis (Jim), Richard Sharpton (Toni), Debra Allsup (Zac), David Sharpton, grandchildren Adriane Burgess, Matt Sharpton, Kimberly Gunter, Alex Jones, Jessica Sharpton, Hannah Sharpton, greatgrandchildren Isabella Burgess, Michael Burgess, Gabriel Jones, sister Joan Taylor, sister/brother in laws Marie Rich, Lanette Albright, Martha and Larry Busby, James Morris, and numerous nieces and nephews
Pallbearers will be Kip Williams, Gary Rich, Kyle Albright, Kirk Albright, Keith Busby, Brian Busby, honorary pallbearers Auston Burgess, Ryan Gray, Benjamin Jones, Barry Rich, Jimmy Abels, Mike Nash, Doug Taylor
She was a Christian first and a good and faithful member of East Gadsden Baptist Church for 74 years, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother
