Obituary

Elizabeth Anne Leman, 96, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at StoryPoint Senior Living in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Eureka, IL to the late Edgar and Dagmar (Honet) Wallace DDS. Anne attended Grinell College in Iowa. She married Frederick J. Leman on August 28, 1947 in Peoria, IL and he survives. Anne was an avid, excellent Bridge player. She was an accomplished knitter and talented seamstress. Anne enjoyed playing competitive golf. Surviving are her children, James (Cynthia) Leman, John (Eileen) Leman and Patricia Catanzarite; sister, Nancy (Royce) Masterson; grandchildren, Adrian (Tess) Stackhouse and Megan (Ian) Alday; and great-grandchildren, Marlee North, Harper Stackhouse, and Owen Stackhouse. Anne was also preceded in death by her borther, Robert Wallace; sisters, Jean Sauder and Peg Thierer; grandchildren, Elizabeth Leman and Shannon North; and great-grandchild, Caleb North. Services have taken place. The family would like to extend a thank you to Eleos Hospice and StoryPoint for the care they gave to Anne. Arrangements entrusted to Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
