Obituary
Dru Rachael Kealaonalani Borges, Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024. She was 57 years old. Dru was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to her parents Gordon Jerry Borges and Patricia Lucille Cunningham. She graduated from High School.
Dru worked hard and raised her children in Honolulu where she ran a successful cleaning business that she passionately owned and operated for over 30 years. She spent the past 10 years in Galveston where she served friends and loved ones. Dru was a woman of faith and a strong Christian. Dru enjoyed spending time outdoors; hiking, biking, swimming, gardening in the yard, and playing with her beloved dogs were some of her favorite hobbies. Dru loved being a sister, mother and grandmother to all of her respective family. Dru loved earrings and always made it a point to be fashionably put together. Dru will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her outgoing personality, and her determination to always fight for what she believed in. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.
Dru is survived by her children, Jaclyn (Nicole) Borges-Lee, Winston Borges-Lee, and Shannon (Jon) Borges-Lee Nance; her grandchildren, Faith, Danella, Vylana, and Jonathon Jr.; her father, Gordon Jerry Borges; her siblings, Dena Kutzen, Michael Rodrigues, Dawn Hardesty, Brian (Hannah) Borges, Billiejo Omerod-Stewart, and Jonathon (Delia) Borges; her several nieces and nephews.
Dru is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Lucille Cunningham.
