Obituary
Clarence Edward Nolen, age 83, of Riner, died, Sunday, October 8, 2023. He was born in Montgomery County on August 12, 1940, to the late Caley Elgin and Gracie Lee Sarver Nolen. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin, Lee Roy, and Gale Nolen, and sisters, Ethel Nolen and Mary Bishop.
He is survived by his wife, Viola Nolen; stepson and daughter-in-law, Billy and Susan Caldwell; grandson, Attia Mohamed; granddaughter, Shelly Caldwell; sisters, Margaret (Carl) Simmons and Dorothena Doss; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Marvin Wade and Pastor Carl Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM before the service.
