kept smile on his face with a twinkle in his eyes all the time. After Frances
passed 5 years ago, his neighbors would visit regularly and take him places as
needed. One neighbor even cooked him dinner every Sunday.
He loved having a motor home, going camping to the mountains and
fishing
Cecil's family will never forget the time he went deep sea fishing and was told to
bring something to drink and snacks, and he brought bananas. The captain
of the boat said bananas were bad luck so he had to leave them behind.
Cecil's son David enjoyed it when Cecil went golfing with him even though he only rode in
the cart. Cecil went fishing one week and lost a reel and rod. Then he
asked Cynthia to go with him the next week and she caught the reel and rod he
had lost the week before.
His family would like to thank Concordia Village Senior Assisted Living center
their staff and management for their dedication to Cecil, in his last month.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd from 10am to 11am at Serenity Meadows, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview. A funeral service will begin at 11am and interment will follow.
