Obituary

Carol Jean “Deet” Tyrrell, Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was 84 years old. Carol was born in Fontana, WI, to her parents Edward and Ellen. She graduated from Walworth High School. Carol married her husband, William Tyrrell, in 1974 and together they shared 24 years of marriage until William passed away in 1998.  
Carol was a devout Christian woman who loved Jesus and was passionate in her religion all her life. Carol loved working as a florist; she was known for her creativity and artistic talent in florals, interior design, and painting. Carol was a true cheese head; she was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. Carol was very family oriented; she always looked forward to and enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Wade and Brock. She will be remembered as a fabulous cook with a glowing happy spirit. She will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.  
Carol is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Jim) Koehler; her stepchildren, Scott Tyrrell and Debbie Tyrrell; her grandchildren, Wade (Sarah Lockett) Koehler and Brock (Melissa) Koehler; her sister, Barbara Christensen.  
Carol is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Travis Barwick; her stepchildren, Billy Tyrrell and Ty Tyrrell; her brother, Dean Christensen. 
There will be no services at this time. 
For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family suggests that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.

so sad, i have have so many memories, and they were all good, im so glad i was able to reach out to carol many years ago, to rekindle the friendship. Talking football, and the goofy things we would do on hawes street in appleton, some of my best times were spent at their house visiting.and yes she sure could cook. jeff(scott) tyrrell
