Obituary
Biennaize Alexandre, 93 years old, died peacefully at home, in Deltona, Florida, on November 13, 2024, after a prolonged illness. Surrounded by her loving daughter, she passed away while she was receiving the Last Rites from her parish priest. She was born at Jacmel, Haiti on May 22, 1931, to the late Josepha Alexandre and Andrecia Jean Charles. She immigrated to the United States in April 2004 to Deltona, Florida where living with her only child, her daughter, Aniaize, and her son-in-law, Chesnel.
Biennaize, whose nickname is Marrenn, was a virtuous and a devout Christian, who loved God and her family. She constantly prayed the novena to the child Jesus / L'Enfant Jesus on behalf of her daughter, her son-in-law, and her two grandsons. Indeed, she was a powerful prayer warrior, particularly the Rosary was her constant and daily prayer. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She was an active member of the Haitian prayer group "Notre Dame Du Perpetuel Secours" and Saint Clare Catholic Church in Deltona, Florida. She was a quiet and private person, but very hospitable and compassionate, someone whose actions spoke louder than words. She was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother, an independent and resourceful woman, a talented homemaker, and one of her talents was her cooking, which everyone loved, especially her grandsons were very fond of her Haitian dishes. Before the decline of her health, she used to perform various household duties such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and ironing. She was a meticulous person with a great sense of orderliness; her room was consistently in a clean state, and her bed neatly made. She inspired and touched the lives of many of us by her exemplary life. For being a faithful steward and fighting the good fight of faith until the very end, she went to live in eternal paradise with her heavenly Father, who will grand her the incorruptible crown of victory, and we are all blessed to have her as an angel in heaven who will continue to pray and intercede in favor of all of us she left behind.
She will be greatly missed and remembered by her loving family members, close friends, by members of the families: Jean-Mary, Mondesir, and Alexandre, and by all the brothers and sisters of her extended spiritual family who are all afflicted by her departure.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
