In Loving Memory of

Beverly J. Roberts

September 16th, 1927 - February 6th, 2022

Obituary

Beverly J Roberts, 94 passed away with the soothing touch, love and care of her daughters and staff of Sunrise Reminiscence Care. It took a village including our sister Kris sending her love and guidance from above.

Beverly was born 9-16-1927 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to Fred and Alice Ballschmeider.  She is survived by her loving sister Jean Filbert, her daughters  Lyn (Perfecto) Rivera and Wendy (Tom) Uber. Beverly was a fun loving and playful grandma to Heather Collins, Nicole Sayers Morgan Schneider, Rory Christensen, Kelly Pourciau and Trevor Gerlach. She was also blessed with 10 Great grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald B Roberts and much missed precious daughter Kristine A. Schmidt, as well as numerous friends.

Beverly finished High School and moved on to help maintain a farm, raise 3 girls, and run successful Avon and Merle Norman businesses. She went on to work at Briggs and Stratton parts division ending her career at Park State Bank in Milwaukee as a bank administrator.

As a retiree, Beverly was finally able to travel extensively with her husband Don and numerous friends. She was able to devote more time to her daughters and grandchildren's activities.
Beverly and Don relocated to Brandon Fl. in 1989 where she volunteered at Brandon Hospital assisting on the new baby floor; nurturing new babies by holding and rocking them when their mothers weren’t able.  She also had a warm, friendly smile for customers in the hospital gift shop.
No one was a stranger to mom just someone she had not met, her smile was always available to the world.

Some of Moms passions were dancing, and dogs.   As children we were always blessed to have a dog.  She also loved to decorate and change things in and outside of her home.  Beverly could set a beautiful table for any occasion, and create a feast to adorn it.

Mom lived a good life and had no fear of moving on to the next life and adventure.

How do you sum up a person you learned a lifetime of lessons and love from in such a brief time?  This was our Mom such a special, kind, capable, beautiful little person.
