Betty Loretta Comstock

Obituary

Betty Loretta Comstock, Camby, IN, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. She was 85 years old. Betty was born in London, KY to her mother, Dorothy Humphrey.  
Betty worked as an upholstery teacher for Goodwill Industries and retired after 26 years of service. During her time there, Betty earned several awards and made several friends. Betty enjoyed the arts; she wrote poetry and filled several sketch books during her life. The Goodwill Paper published one of her poems. She loved raising her family and being a mom. Betty was generous with her time and her means; she supported the Feed the Children Charity regularly. Her bubbly personality and loving demeanor will be dearly missed by those she leaves behind.  
Betty is survived by her children, Shelly (Bob) Polson, Rita (Philip) Clark, Lorna (Gregory) Nestle, David (Angie) Gregory, and Arthur “Artie” (Deena) Comstock; her grandchildren, Mandy, Amber, Phillip, Christopher, Faith, Aaron, Andy, Jennifer, Sean, David and Kyle; her several great grandchildren.  
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; her great grandson, Michael. 
A visitation for Betty will be held on January 7, 2025, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 10:30 am- 1:30 pm. The funeral service will be on January 7, 2025, at 1:30 pm. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens at 2:30 pm.

For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family suggests that donations be sent to Feed the Children.
