Viewneral® Scheduled Services - User Guide

Welcome to Viewneral Scheduled Services. Thank you for letting us help you honor and celebrate your loved ones. You will be able to host a virtual event for up to 300 participants and receive a recording, guest list and messages from all that attended. How to Host Your Scheduled Service

Get Started

After you and your funeral home or monument company has scheduled your service, you (or the person you designated to coordinate your service) will receive a confirmation email that a Viewneral Scheduled Service has been scheduled.

In addition, the coordinator will receive a second email with:

  1. Instructions on how to start and host the scheduled service.
  2. An invitation link that can be distributed to family and friends that would like to attend virtually.

NOTE: If your service is within 5 days of being scheduled, the coordinator will receive the second email directly after the confirmation email. Otherwise, they will receive the second email 5 days prior to the service.

 

On the Day of Your Service

Simply access the email and click the HOST YOUR VIEWNERAL button to start the gathering. You must use this link to start the gathering. You cannot use the invitation link to start and host the gathering. Once the gathering has started, the guests will be able to join.

Following your Scheduled Service, you will receive an email with a link to view and or download the recording of the gathering, as well as a list of the guests that attended virtually.

 

BEST PRACTICES

  • It is recommended that you start the gathering approximately 15-20 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
  • If you have not already downloaded and used the Zoom app we recommend you download it in advance and practice starting the Virtual Gathering to ensure comfort with the app.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: Can I reschedule my Scheduled Service?
A: Yes, you can call your funeral home or monument company to reschedule your Scheduled Service. You will receive an email confirming the new date and time of your Schedule Service.

Q: If I reschedule my Scheduled Service will the host and join link change?
A: No, only the date and/or time will change, the host and invitation link will stay the same.

Q: Will my Scheduled Service automatically be recorded?
A: Yes, by default all Scheduled Services are set to record. (Please check with your scheduler if you are unsure it was set up this way.) You will receive an email at the end of the day your Virtual Gatherings took place with a link to view and/or download the recording. You will have 30 days to access and download your recordings.

PLEASE NOTE: In the event that your recording was less than 10 minutes you will not receive the email with a link. If you would like to have access to a recording that is less than 10 minutes long, please call 877.788.6572

Q: How many guests can attend my Scheduled Service?
A: You can invite up to 300 guests to your Scheduled Service.

Q: As the host, will I have to admit everyone into the Scheduled Service?
A: All devices, including cell phones, tablets, and computers work for the Scheduled Service. Guests can click on the link and attend the service.These individuals can watch and/or listen.

Q: Will I be able to see who attended my Scheduled Service?
A: Yes, following the Scheduled Service, you will receive a list of all guests that joined virtually along with the recording of the service.
